Pal goes shopping

They had mini shopping carts at the hardware store.  Perfect for a Pal who is looking to outfit his new camper van with the latest gadget and gizmo!

Please excuse the delay of adventure… we are still getting settled

We haven't done much in the way of adventure yet, unless you call grocery shopping adventure!  We bought a van and we are busy getting it checked out and ready to hit the road.  Everything is going well so far but it will be a few days until she's ours officially.  Yay camping!

So we offer you 30% off of all Pals.

Our first day in Christchurch

We flew into Christchurch this morning.  We will be spending the next week in search of a suitable camper van for the 3 of us to tour New Zealand in style.  Stay tuned!

Romantic dinner for 3

One of the best restaurants we've ever been to is located across the street from our apartment in Melbourne.  It's called Rice Paper Scissors.  Every night people line up down the block to get into this place.  We went for dinner as part of our Melbourne farewell week.

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary

Up close and personal with Tassie animals at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.  This was one of the coolest experiences of my life.  Pal didn't care for it much.  He played with a red clip from his car seat most of the time.

Hand-feeding kangaroos

 Gimme that!

Pal pets a 'roo.

Feeding tawny falmouths.  These little guys were at the sanctuary because they were not able to be released to the wild.  This one was blind.

Burt, the koala.

It's been a lifetime bucket list item for me to pet a koala.  Check!

Tassie devil

Feeding the devils

This is Tina, the wombat.  She was very cool.

Pal didn't care about Tina at all.  That clip, though...
