Bondi Beach - Part of our trip to Sydney

This is the famous walk to Bondi Beach just outside of Sydney.  So beautiful!

Bondi Beach is world famous for surfing.  Sadly, we didn't partake in that part.

Out of town, out of sorts

Matt is out of town this week and little Pal is teething (oof) so we are going to be short on adventures this week.

Here is Pal checking out the 12 Apostles on the GOR.

St. Kilda, take 2

We decided to give St. Kilda another try since we expected a warm, sunny day.  It was great!

The Great Ocean Road - Day 1

We couldn’t spend time in Melbourne and not do a tour of the Great Ocean Road!  We packed up our nerves and the Pal and rented a car to do the drive to Warnambool.  They drive on the left hand side of the road here, so there is a lot of things that are different in the normal flow of traffic.  Luckily, Matt has managed the driving so I don’t have to.  Ha!

On the way down to Warnambool, we stopped for directions at an information kiosk.  The guy told us that we had to make a stop at the Kennett River to see the koalas and birds.  So we did as we were told; Matt went into the little cafĂ© and purchased a small bag of bird seed.  We were told to walk outside with the bird seed in our hands and simply hold them up.  Within a minute, we were surrounded by a dozen brightly colored parrots eager for the seed.  The landed on our arms, shoulders, and heads and not-so-patiently waited their turn to get at the seeds.  Pal was so excited he was beside himself.  He made friends with a duck that he followed around while Matt and I fed the parrots.

We have lots more photos on the other camera, so stay tuned for some throwback pics from this trip!
